Using the latest technology, it opens at the touch of a finger. But you decide whose fingerprints unlock it; maybe only yours. Bio-Safe operates for up to a year on three D-cell batteries, but comes with a handy plug-in adapter to run on household current. The flash memory keeps fingerprint data secure in the event of power failure but Bio-Safe is NOT fire-resistant or fireproof.

Fingerprints stored in the Bio Safe are retained in the event of a total power loss.  Once power is restored, either via the supplied AC adapter, or fresh batteries, the unit will function as it did before power failure.  Bio Safe is NOT fireproof or fire resistant.
